   The Frozen Tears of Angels is an exciting return to form for Rhapsody after the slightly bland Triumph or Agony. The folky influences they had so far been neglecting in the Dark Secret albums make a welcome return, and they even dabble in some extreme metal sounds, with some honest to goodness shrieked vocals making an appearance/5.

After four years of chaos, and the band’s still ongoing legal fight with Joey DeMaio (who signed the band and tried to steal their sound), Rhapsody of Fire is back with a power metal vengeance. They could not have chosen a better time or written better music for this imminent return.

   In July the band formerly known as Rhapsody changed their name to Rhapsody of Fire due to trademark issues. The band's website goes into further detail: The band members consider this a great new start, reflecting the emboldened and increasingly grandiose direction that their music has taken.
